Barbecue Chicken Wings

Makes 6 servings

Make sauce ahead of time


12 chicken wings

Quick homemade BBQ sauce (see dish below)

BBQ sauce Items:

4 tbsp of tomato paste

4 tbsp of brown sauce

1.5tbsp of clear honey

1.5tbsp of white wine vinegar

1.5tbsp of olive oil

2 cloves of garlic (crushed)

Baking Steps:

For this dish, start off by first accumulating together all the BBQ sauce Items in a bowl. Stir items until well mixed. Brush the sauce over the chicken wings. Then bake the wings over hot coals for about 15 to 20 minutes. Turn the wings a few times while grilling, and spread the sauce over them. Place wings onto serving plates. Chicken and Pepper Kabobs

Perfect for summer barbecues

Makes 8 servings


1 pound of skinless chicken breast halves

Medium onion

yellow pepper

red pepper

Bamboo skewers (8 inches or 20 cm); in water for 10 minutes

Citrus pepper:

1/2 cup of orange juice

1/4 cup of ranch dressing

1/2 tsp of garlic powder

2 tsp grated lime zest

1 tsp ground cumin

1 tsp pepper

Baking Steps:

For these baked chicken dishes, start off by first cutting the chicken breasts, onion, and peppers into 24 equal pieces. Then thread them alternatively onto the soaked bamboo sticks. Place the skewers onto a large dish.

Mix together the marinade Items. Pour about 2/3 cup over the kabobs. Turn the kabobs to coat them. Place the left over marinade into the fridge. Place kabobs (covered) in the fridge for 2 hours. Heat the gas barbecue to medium-high. Bake the skewers for 6 minutes per side, or until edges are browned. Brush the kabobs with the remaining marinade. Place onto serving plates, and Take pleasure in baking!

Spicy Barbecued Chicken Wings

Takes about 40 minutes to make

Makes 6 servings


18 chicken wings oil

Sauce Items:

250ml of cider vinegar

1 small roasted red pepper (chopped)

2 tbsp Worcester sauce

2 tbsp lemon juice

1 tbsp ground black pepper

1 tbsp of coarse sea salt

1 tsp of paprika

1/2 tsp of dried chilli flakes

60ml (about 4 tbsp) of vegetable oil

Ground black pepper

Baking Steps:

Put all the sauce Items into a mixer. Mix contents together, and then pour the sauce into a bottle, or sealable container.

Rub the oil onto the chicken wings, and bake for 10 minutes over moderately high heat. Be sure to spread the sauce on both sides of the wings. Transfer wings onto serving plates, and serve while hot.
